At the launch of the Apple iPhone 5, Apple mentioned and showcased the new earphone it had made to release with the iPhone 5, the earphone is tagged EarPod, as follow the EarBud in the iPhone 4S. Apple claimed to have specifically designed the EarPod for comfort. The Earphone vouched never to fall off from the ear, Apple hard made it to perfectly rest and stay inside the ear.

Not only the comfort, but the earphone that came with the iPhone 5 boasts of an audio quality that competes with the ones that goes on a hundred pounds or more.

The design is critically organized by the ear geometry which is why it makes it stand more comfortable than any other Earbud headphone.

The speakers in the EarPods had been made by Apple to maximize sound output and minimize sound loss. The iPhone 5 headphone also has the noise cancellation quality.

When the EarPod was tested so loud in a quiet room, it revealed that the sound was leaking. It has a remote control that let you adjust the volume, stop, and start music and video, also to answer calls with just a pinch on the cord.

The EarPod will be the first redesign since the arrival of the iPhone in 2007. Apple said it had take time designing the EarPod and so many prototypes were experimented before arriving at this final best, Apple had spent 3 years making the EarPod.

The EarPod had been immediately available at £25 since Wednesday 12 September of the iPhone 5 launch.

“Making earphones that fit for everyone would be like making shoes that are the same size that fit everyone’s feet. But that’s what we’ve tried to do.”
