The New Google Jelly Bean Android Features

Google popularly known with its search engine business who went further into producing mobile operating system has released a new version of its Android, nicknamed “the jelly bean”, the Android 4.1.

The OS was announced in a forum post by Google Enigineer, Jean-Baptiste Queru.

“We recommend that you create new clients, even if you’re working in the master branch. It’ll make your clients smaller and faster to sync,” Queru said, adding that proprietary binaries are now available for the Nexus 7 and Galaxy Nexus, while binaries for the Nexus S and Xoom devices will follow soon.

The Android 4.1 mobile operating system which was unvieled at the I/O conference in San Francisco last month, has a number of features.

The prominent among which is the “Project Butter”.

Other features to come, includes; the improved voice dictation, the renewed authomatic widget resizing interface, the new Google Now application.

The Jelly Bean will be rolled out on the hot Google Nexus 7 tablet later this month, and later on the Galaxy Nexus, Nexus S and the Motorola Xoom towards the end of July.
